2016

Founded on May 11, 2016, by Wesley Keller (DriftACR), Danny Dalton (WarLordElite), and Brittnay DuPont (LKG), Prevail Gaming has branched out into both an Esports team and a franchise, releasing its own brand of merchandise known as 'Prevail'.

Prevail Gaming have largely been known for their content-creation with the majority of their staff-base being focused solely on independent streaming/broadcasting of various video-games.

Originally Prevail Gaming only competed in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Sunday Go4 tournaments hosted by ESL, and powered by Ubisoft. Prevail's roster for this debut event included: Chewie, Fantom, Satrixx, Mini, and Warlord. Prevail did not qualify from this event for competitive play.

2020

In August 2020, Prevail Gaming became an official LLC under the state of Florida.

On October 13, 2020, Prevail Gaming began to engage in charitable endeavors, where it hosted its maiden fundraising event; raising money for the Susan G Koman Foundation. During this event, $500 USD was raised in honor of the charity.

During the year 2020, Prevail Gaming began its expansion into other Esports games, primarily involving Diabotical, where they competed more notably in the GetCracked Esports Circuit. After minimal success, the roster disbanded and left Prevail Gaming. Following this, Prevail entered their first team into the LHYNX division[5], competing in Overwatch, League of Legends, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. LHYNX eventually became inactive and the Prevail roster for each game disbanded.

2021

The founder of Prevail, Danny Dalton, ceased ownership of Prevail Gaming on July 21, 2021.

Wesley Keller was given the LLC and full ownership of Prevail Gaming shortly after. In 2021, Prevail signed professional Brawlhalla player 'Goddess' to their roster, an Australian competitor power ranked number 8 nationally. Goddess competed in the Australian 2v2 Winter Championships placing 2nd and also in the 1v1 placing 5th whilst representing Prevail Gaming. Later in 2021 Goddess was released to become a free agent.

2022

On January 15th, 2022, Prevail Gaming hosted the maiden edition of the 'Prevail Faceoff' whereby other professional Esports teams and free-agents compete in the games Rocket League, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and Halo Infinite for cash prizes. In the most recent edition, Prevail are partnered with FACEIT to enhance the quality of competition.

On February 15, 2022, Prevail Gaming hosted a larger scale charity event featuring eleven of its own content-creators raising over $1,600 USD for the charity Canine Companions for Independence and providing over $1,000 USD in prize money to give back to the community.

Formerly known as 'Torque FIFA', Prevail Gaming is also involved in professional FIFA Pro Clubs, competing in the Virtual Pro Gaming - Esports Premier League (OfficialVPG). Recruited in January 2022, this team placed 6th in the division on their debut with an overall record of 26-8-13; on March 24th they re-signed for another season representing Prevail.
